No one in our community should go to bed hungry.

The Dorit & Ben J. Genet Cupboard serves Goodman JFS clients and those in the Broward County Jewish community who have been identified as food insecure, while providing assistance and referrals to anyone who is hungry.

The Cupboard assists:

• Families suffering financial hardships due to job loss, death of a loved one
• Victims of physical, emotional abuse or other crisis situations
• Homebound elderly and unemployed adults who need temporary assistance

Passover:

Many Jewish households in Broward County are struggling to make ends meet, and Passover can be an especially challenging time for them. The Dorit & Ben J. Genet Cupboard of Goodman JFS is committed to providing prepared seder meals for seniors in need, including Holocaust survivors, and Passover essentials for families throughout Broward County.
